ADESUA ETOMI AND BANKY W FINALLY REVEAL WEDDING DATE

Olubankole Wellington A.k.a Mr Banky W and Adesua Etomi who announced their engagement last week have taken another step in the romantic journey of Holy matrimony.

Banky W and the gorgeous Nollywood actress did their marriage introduction in Lagos over the weekend, and now, according to sources, Banky W and Adesua are likely to tie the knot by the 2nd week of November 2017.

The source also added that the location of the celebrity wedding is yet to be released to the family members of the couple.

For now everything is private to protect the interest of the relationship.

According to Banky W, he knew pretty early in the process that he wanted to spend forever with her and he had prayed fervently about it while he waited for her to catch up.

The singer also made reference to his music video, “made for you” in which he got engaged to Adesua, as well as their roles in the hit movie, “The Wedding Party”, describing both experiences as pure coincidence.

The reason why Banky W and Adesua Etomi remained friends for such a long period before they started dating was because Adesua was already seeing someone else in the industry.
According to reliable sources, he’s none other than upcoming actor, Kunle Remi.
Throwback to two years ago, around the time Banky W must have made that call to his bestie, Tunde Demuren. When Banky told Demuren he had met the one, Adesua was still reportedly dating Kunle Remi on the low.
And that was why she insisted on being nothing more than friends.
It was a relationship kept under the wraps and which only very close friends in the Industry knew about. This does not come as a surprise, seeing how lowkey the Actress eventually kept the relationship with her Fiance, Banky W.
Even trips to Kunle Remi’s Lekki apartment at the time were secret. And let’s not forget how smartly they both evaded the dating questions.
Back in November last year, during an interview with Kunle Remi, the actor insisted he was only friends with the actress.
Adding that their strong chemistry in Uduak Isong‘s Falling was simply what it was – an onscreen chemistry.
However, sources close to the two claim a certain ‘busty’ actress came into the picture and everything went downhill from there.
Of course, Banky and Adesua had been friends during this period and it was not until late last year, that the relationship between Kunle and Adesua finally came to an end.
And it was probably the official beginning of Banky and Adesua.

Mercy Aigbe Gentry Husband Remanded In Prison

MERCY AIGBE’S HUSBAND, LANRE GENTRY, REMANDED IN IKOYI PRISON AFTER FAILING TO MEET BAIL CONDITION

Estranged husband of actress Mercy Aigbe, Lanre Gentry, has been remanded in Ikoyi prison custody after failing to meet his bail conditions.

Lanre was today arraigned before an Ogba Magistrate court on a three count charge offence bordering on breach of public peace, assault and causing grievous bodily harm on his wife.
Police prosecutor, Inspector N. Peter told the court that Mr. Gentry constantly beat up Mercy and in the last assault, hit her on the nose, which resulted to blood gushing out.

The police prosecutor said the offence committed by Gentry was contrary to and punishable under sections 157 (f), 168 (a) and 171 of the Criminal Law No II, Vol. 44 Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria 2011.

Lanre is said to have entered a not guilty plea to the three count charge offence. The presiding magistrate, Mrs O. Aje-Afunwa granted him bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in the like sum. According to Aje-Afunwa, both sureties must show proof of tax payment and own a verifiable house in Lagos with title documents.

Since he couldn’t meet up with his bail conditions before the Magistrate closed for the day, he was sent to the Ikoyi prison until he fulfills his bail condition.
